Enjoy our annual EASTER FEST and EGG HUNT on Saturday, March 23rd, at 2:00 pm (RAIN or SHINE)! There will be FOOD - FUN - GAMES - and PRIZES for all!! We will also share the Easter Story by way of a PUPPET SHOW - we hope to see you there!!

Kingdom Kids runs from
February 6th until March 12th!

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 14th

Lent is 40 days long (46 days in total, but Sunday was always considered a feast day, as we celebrate the Lord’s resurrection every Sunday). The three main focuses of Lent are prayer, fasting (abstaining from something you like to reduce distractions and give us more time to focus on God) and giving (charity). It is to remind us of Christ’s 40 days in the wilderness, and His victory over Satan’s temptations (Matthew 4). It is also time to “examine oneself”, examine our devotion to Christ and His church, and to prepare our hearts and minds for Good Friday and Easter Sunday (at sunrise, Lent is over on Easter morn).

To aid you in your Lenten observances, we will once again have the following additional Worship Services:

  • Ash Wednesday Traditional Service with Holy Communion - February 14

  • First Midweek Traditional Service with Rev. Dr. Dale Crouthamel preaching - February 21

  • Second Midweek Traditional Service with Rev. John Niederhaus (Retired) preaching - February 28

  • Third Midweek Traditional Service with Pastor Scott preaching - March 6

  • Fourth Midweek Traditional Service with Vicar Geoffrey Firth from St. Peter’s Anglican Church Preaching. The Senior Choir will also be singing an Anthem this evening - March 13

  • Fifth Midweek “Night of Praise” Service with Linda Covel, Michelle Toburen and others from the Prayer Team leading. Tonight, we will have our one and only “Light Supper” before the Service in the Fellowship Hall. Soup, bread, and other light fare will be offered from 6:00 to 6:45 PM by the Music and Worship Committee- March 20

ALL SERVICES ARE AT 7 PM. All Services will be in the Sanctuary.

Holy week we will have our Traditional Maundy Thursday (3/28) Communion Service at 7 PM and our Resurrection Sunday (3/31) early Communion Service 7:30 AM and Traditional 10:15 AM Service.

There is excitement in the air! Priscilla Shirer and her Going Beyond Live team are coming to the Santander Arena in Reading on Saturday April 20th!

A Little About Our Church

For over 275 years, worship at Christ Reformed Church has been a time for giving the glory due our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

  • Sunday School and Junior Church offer bible study and activities for all ages

  • Sunday Worship includes a call to worship, traditional hymns, confession of sin with assurance of pardon, pastoral prayer and strong Biblical preaching

  • For your convenience, our sanctuary is easily accessible and our Nursery provides supervised child care for infants and toddlers

  • If you can’t attend the worship service in person, we offer live broadcasts on our YouTube channel

As a member of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference we are proud of our Reformed heritage and Biblical foundation.  Our belief that the Bible is the inspired Word of God is evident in our preaching, teaching and family-centered ministries through which we present the love of Jesus Christ and the joy of His salvation to the Indian Valley.

Christ Reformed Church welcomes all to worship with us and we hope to see you soon!

Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
— Psalm 29:2 (NIV)
